GLO has represented companies in Federal Courts throughout the country and in many industries, including the computer streaming, power tool, medical device, automotive parts and service equipment, retail security, telephony, truck/trailer, heat transfer, printing equipment and forms, metal roll-forming equipment, construction equipment, software, fire protection, container-packaging, sporting goods, and soft sculpture industries.

RESULTS

Since 2007 GLO has received more than $55 million in verdicts and settlements. Recently GLO was awarded a $25 million verdict in a case involving a power tool against Sears Roebuck and a $12 million verdict in a case involving computer software against a subsidiary of Tyco International, and several multimillion dollar settlements.

GLO has also been successful in defending its clients against infringement claims. In addition to prevailing on the issues of noninfringement on several occasions, most recently, after a lengthy litigation battle, GLO invalidated a patent in which the patentee was seeking more than $100 million in damages.

In addition to the numerous District Courts, GLO has been highly successful in representing our clients in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, arguing there on more than 14 occasions.
